Madison Rose Fund
For Therapeutic Riding
About

We created The Madison Rose Fund For Therapeutic Riding, a Non Profit 501(c), to honor our daughter’s life after tragically losing her at the age of 28. An entrepreneurial, competitive, loyal, passionate and determined young woman - she is our inspiration. An animal lover extraordinaire, as well as an accomplished equestrian, Maddy knew firsthand the benefits reaped from being involved with horses, both as a volunteer, as well as a rider.

Our equine partners forge a strong connection with their human counterparts allowing the magic to happen! There is an old adage that you can place a newborn infant in a stall with a spirited stallion, and the horse will immediately calm. Horses have a unique ability and innately know they have “precious cargo.” They mirror human emotions and know when to provide comfort and patience with their human companions needing a bit more assistance.

Individuals from all walks of life, through therapeutic /adaptive riding opportunities, whether atop a horse or beside, find new abilities such as improving muscle tone, speech, motor skills, balance, as well as social skills and emotional strengths! How great is it for these individuals to be able to take the “dis” out of “disability!”
